Service businesses are a larger portion of the American economy today than ever before. Many of these businesses experience payment issues with their customers that result in bad debt write-offs. Once accounts are written-off, service businesses ordinarily ignore them and would be willing to make a donation of these write-offs accumulated over the past three or four years.
